What are pelvic floor exercises and can i do these at home?
Best answer:
When you are peeing, try to stop the flow. That's the muscles you need to exercise when you're not peeing. Just tense and release them. You can do this any time any place. Nobody will know, unless your facial expression gives it away. Work up to 100 a day.

What muscles of the pelvic floor should be strengthened to help control urinary control?
Best answer:
I'm not sure what kind of an answer you're looking for. Are you expecting people to name the individual muscles?
Most people will not even know what pelvic floor muscles are, let alone be able name a specific muscle or muscle group.

Strengthening the muscles of the pelvic floor in general will help. It's pretty hard to feel the difference between the specific muscle groups anyway.

Just do your Kegels and you'll be fine.I am not going to name them for you. This is your homework assignment and I'm not going to help you cheat; but I will give you a simple resource to look it up yourself.

The exercise done to help strengthen them are called "Kegel exercises", and can be read on Wikipedia at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kegel_exercise
