Fibroids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
Best answer:
You wouldn't pee more often because of uterine fibroids. You also wouldn't crave ice nor have back pain. What did your gyno tell you your options were? Almost every woman has fibroids in her uterus, normally older women, but your dr would have gone over what to do.They often only treat uterine fibroids with surgery if they really think it is necessary - have they actually said they are going to remove them, or are they just going to have a look? If you aren't wanting children anytime soon a lot of women find relief from the pain and bleeding by taking the pill. Even if you do want children there are tablets you can take that are non-hormonal and don't affect your chances of pregnancy - like tranexamic acid and mefanamic acid. However, if they are awkwardly placed fibroids then sometimes the only option is to remove them as lemon sized is not big in the world of fibroids.
This could be causing your back pain actually - if your uterus is tilted it pushes towards the nerves at the back and when it contracts to push the blood out the pain can radiate through to your back or front of your thighs.
I don't think the eating ice thing has anything to do with anything.
Have they thought about the possibility of endometriosis? This can in some circumstances cause you to pee more as the endo can attach to the bladder. However, it would often be painful as well, and as you haven't mentioned that I'm guessing it's not one of your symptoms.
I don't really know if I have helped at all, I hope I have - I have endo and know how you feel about the pain and bleeding, I don't think people who have never experienced it can understand the pain!
Good luck honey, whatever you do i hope you feel better soon!Fibroids that grow to the outside of the uterus could cause the back pain. Fibroids inside the uterus do not. Anything over 3 cm in size is considered kinda big.you must read the story of a lady who had fibroids and dissolved them with vitalzym , no surgery ,
they tell you surgery is the only option , not true , click the link and read her story ,
vitalzym is an enzyme that eats scar tissue inside or on the skin and it cleans up the blood

Fibroids may be discovered during routine gynecologic examination or during prenatal care. Some women who have uterine fibroids may experience symptoms such as excessive or painful bleeding during menstruation, bleeding between periods, a feeling of fullness in the lower abdomen, frequent urination resulting from a fibroid that compresses the bladder, pain during sexual intercourse, or low back pain. Although reproductive symptoms such as infertility, recurrent spontaneous abortion, and early onset of labor during pregnancy have been attributed to fibroids to any of these symptoms.
