Will doing Kegel exercises help my prolapsed uterus?

Will doing Kegel exercises help my prolapsed uterus?
Best answer:
I really doubt its a prolapsed uterus. It is probably still healing from child birth. The length of the average vagina is only about 3-4 inches long, The trauma caused by child birth may make the uterus visible now, but you are still healing. A true prolapsed uterus protrudes out side of the vagina. The only way to correct a prolapsed uterus is surgery, but a pessary can be used to keep the uterus in the vagina. I wouldn't worry about it. It sounds normal given the circumstances.

What are exercises to treat prolapsed uterus?
Best answer:
penii stimuliiAcupuncture or energetic treatment like Shiatsu or Jin Shin Jyutsu could help you in the process.

The process towards more awareness so that eventually you can find the cause.
Awareness is a very powerful tool.If you mean a prolapse of the cervix (the neck of the uterus) this often results from stretching or tearing of the pelvic floor muscles during childbirth. You need to do 'pelvic floor' exercises, sometimes called kegel exercises. This means strengthening the appropriate muscles by regularly & repeatedly contracting, holding & then relaxing the vagina & rectal muscles. You can do this when sitting or lying or standing. You can also do it by starting & then stopping & holding the flow of urine for a few seconds every time you have a pee.. This will ensure that you are contracting the right muscles with enough strength. Some prolapses are too bad to correct with exercises alone & may need surgery. Ask your doctor or a midwife to give you the right advice & info. how to do the exercises.I don't know about exercises?...Prolapse of any organ, according to Chinese medicine, points back to a weakness of the spleen. You can however tonify the spleen with herbs. I have had great success with Chinese medicine!
