There is no easy answer to this. Some women only have them for a few months and others have them for years. Sorry to hear about her cancer. I suppose that estrogen supplements are out of the question for her, so I hope she gets relief soon.Not to worry, I think your mom is alright and the hot flashes are not the worse thing in the world to have to deal with. Hormone replacement therapy may not be a choice for her right now. You can help by being understanding and loving. Oh yeah, buy her one of those cute little hand held fans, for the unexpected melt down that may come along.(I call them, my private summers)

If you had a bilateral one, there is no way to have your own "natural" child.
Unless you froze your eggs prior, you would need to use donor egg.
