Prolapsed uterus?

Prolapsed uterus?
Best answer:
Prolapsed uterus looks and feels just like you're experiencing. You need to see your doctor because you will be vulnerable to a number of urinary system problems as well as gynecological problems.
There is a device called a "pessary" that is similar to a dildo that can be used to hold the uterus in place. It is worn continually and is held in place with straps.
The only other recourse is surgery, either to re-suspend the organ properly or to remove it entirely.
If you are under 30 it would be highly unusual to have a prolapesed uterus. See your doctor.Contact your gyne... it sounds like 1st degree prolapse. The uterus can be surgically put back into place or in a mild case, exercising the kegel muscles can do the trick. Only after a medical exam will your options be clear.

Best answer:
First-degree prolapse occurs when the uterus sags downward into the upper vagina. Second-degree prolapse occurs when the cervix is at or near the outside of the vagina. Third-degree prolapse (sometimes referred to as total prolapse) occurs when the entire uterus is outside the vagina.

How quickly this occurs/progresses is based on the individual's personal situation.

There are treatments you can try in the first and second stages to help stop or slow the prolapse process.

Good luck!
