PLEASE HELP!! Do you know anything about a fallen bladder?
Best answer:
just over time, ligaments have loosened and bladder has popped out of its 'usual' position inside and you probably have a small op to stitch it higher up again. The dr will keep you right.A cystocele (fallen bladder) may result from the following:
heavy lifting
straining muscles during childbirth
repeated straining during bowel movements
menopause
The hormone estrogen helps keep the muscles around the vagina strong, but, with menopause, the body stops making estrogen and the muscles around the vagina and bladder may become weakened.
How is a cystocele diagnosed?
In addition to a complete medical history and physical examination (which may reveal the fallen part of the bladder through the vagina), diagnostic procedures for a cystocele may include a cystourethrogram (also called a voiding cystogram). This is an x-ray of the bladder during urination and with the bladder and urethra filled with contrast medium to determine the shape of the bladder and any obstructions.
Other tests and procedures may be necessary to determine if there are any problems in the other areas of the urinary system.
Treatment for cystoceles:
Specific treatment for cystoceles will be determined by your physician based on:
your age, overall health, and medical history
extent of the disease
your tolerance for specific medications, procedures, or therapies
expectations for the course of the disease
your opinion or preference
Treatment may include:
activity modification (i.e., avoiding heavy lifting or straining that could cause the cystocele to worsen)
pessary - a device placed in the vagina to hold the bladder in place.
surgery (to move the bladder back into a more normal position)
estrogen replacement therapy (may help to strengthen the muscles around the vagina and bladder)

I HAVE A FALLEN BLADDER AND I HAVE NO LARGE COLON CAN I HAVE FALLEN BOWELS CAUSE I DIEAREA AFTER EATING?
Best answer:
I am not sure what your issue is, but if you had no large colon, you would have no bowel movements, fecal matireal comes thru the large bowel on the way to the rectum. Had they removed your large colon, you would have an ileostomy, or bag attached to your abdomen thru which your small bowel could empty. so, as I said, I have no idea what your issue is, and I doubt you do either.there is no such thing as a "fallen" bladder. If you are female, your bladder is located directly under your vaginal opening, in an area you can't see. For it to "fall" the rest of your body would have to morph you into some sort of weird life-form. Also, unless part of your colon was removed, you have all of it: your ascending and descending colon are part of your intestines. I also don't know what you mean by "fallen bowel". Lots of people get diarrhea after eating -- it usually means they ate something their body didn't like, or wasn't use to. If you DO get diarrhea, take two Pepto Bismol tablets and chew them. They will help your stomach feel better. Make sure you drink water after having the diarrhea, because having loose bowels that way uses up a lot of your body's natural water sources.
