Much better idea to listen to the doctors than to ask us. We don't know mom or her prolapse.why doesn't mum go to see a specialist or two
will depend on mum's age and whether or not she plans to have children in the future - if she is past childbearing, and this is causing her problems, a hysterectomy may be a reasonable option for her
if she plans to have further children, then other treatment could be tried -
