you need to ask her DOCTOR!. i had cysts and fibroids,, they do laproscopy -out atient surgery for these problems,,, back on your feet within 3 days,,,,, but everyone is different- is why i said you need to talk to her DOCTOR-as you requested a step by step,, i don't know why people hate on my answer,,,, there are always complications to surgery, i am not a doctor, and is why i sy you should talk to onethat jenni girl is a bitch. rude to everyone!

My sister had the same surgery and was told to take it easy for 6-8 weeks. Your mom should have a follow up appointment scheduled already with her doctor.
She should not be working out or lifting anything over about 20 pounds until the 6-8 weeks is up.

i would assume so, ask the doctor, they can sign a paper saying it happened surgically for any interested individuals.That depend on the surgical procedure. If the doctor uses a transabdominal incision, then the hymen may not tear. A transvaginal myomectomy can certainly tear the hymen.
Transvaginal sonography could possibly tear the hymen, but if you are worried, tell the doctor that you are a virgin and would rather have a transrectal than a transvaginal scan. The view would just be the same, but instead of inserting a vaginal probe, he will be using a rectal probe (which is smaller).
